With a track record of 12 consecutive successful sessions, the State Council-approved CIFIT is the world’s largest event for international investment promotion.
CIFIT is sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), co-sponsored by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD), International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), and China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP). The 52 CIFIT members from provincial governments throughout China, Hong Kong and Macao SAR Governments are actively involved in CIFIT’s various pro-investment activities. CIFIT showcases investment environments across China, presents investment policies, and promotes business and investment projects and corporate products. CIFIT not only furnishes China with the premier gateway to attract FDI and golden opportunities for Chinese enterprisers to go global, but also ensures an ideal platform for various countries and regions from around the world to showcase their investment climates and to select from the widest range of investment projects and business partners. More importantly, you can also capitalize on CIFIT to observe the international capital flow, feel the pulses of global economy, and share business opportunities worldwide.
The 12th CIFIT attracted a total of 13685 overseas visitors from 126 countries and regions, and 445 delegations from 104 countries and regions; and the exhibition area exceeded 52000 square meters, containing 2500 international standard booths. As many as a hundred investment briefings were held in the Fair.
During the 13th CIFIT, China’s Ministry of Commerce will continue to host a series of forums and seminars on hot investment issues, including the prestigious “International Investment Forum”. Relevant state departments from China’s central government and some national trade associations, in collaboration with their overseas counterparts, will also hold relevant seminars. This whole series of activities will ensure you a highly rewarding brainstorming experience on investment-related information, and opportunities to meet face-to-face key-note speakers from China’s state leaders, dignitaries from foreign governments, eminent economists, and senior executives of multinationals.

Special Focus
Exhibition ： Various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, some cities with independent plans, as well as dozens of foreign countries or regions attend CIFIT and set up exhibition booths to showcase their local investment environment and projects. Participants are afforded comprehensive knowledge of the investment environment, investment promotion projects of various places throughout China and dozens of exhibiting countries or regions, as well as the products of tens of thousands of brand-name enterprises.
Conference ： CIFIT has diversified forums and seminars with rich contents, offering the latest and most authoritative investment policies and information from the “International Investment Forum”, “ World Investment Report by UNCTAD”, “China FDI Report”, and a series of strategic seminars on hot investment issues.
Talks:Economic and trade delegation headed by leaders at the provincial level in charge of foreign economic cooperation from China's various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities participate in the Fair. Foreign governmental delegations and high-level supervisors from multinationals also attend the Fair. The participating foreign investors, by meeting with high-level officials, attending matchmaking symposia and topic-specific seminars, and negotiating in the pavilions, teems up with broad prospects for seeking and accessing investment cooperation partners, and conducting high-level public relation activities as well as investment cooperation activities.
